Warm-up

Fresh numbers are distrusted by WhatsApp — sends can silently vanish. Each number's progress bar above shows where it is; the checklist is how you build real trust.

Warming a number the right way

There's no software trick for this — WhatsApp measures genuine human behaviour. Do these for a few days before sending volume through a number:

Use the phone normally. Set a profile photo and name, then chat with real contacts from the phone itself — send and reply to a handful of everyday messages.

Get inbound messages. Have friends or your other numbers message it first, and reply. Two-way conversations matter most — a number people talk to looks real.

Join a group or two. Normal accounts belong to groups. It's a strong, cheap trust signal.

Keep API volume near zero while the progress bar is orange. Let the daily caps rise on their own — sending only to people who already chatted with the number.

Then ramp slowly. Once the bar turns green (“ready”), grow volume gradually and use Campaigns below to pace sends instead of blasting.

Why not an automated warm-up bot? Fake conversations between your own numbers are exactly what WhatsApp's spam detection is built to catch — they get numbers banned faster, not slower. Relay deliberately doesn't ship one. Real use is the only thing that works.

Every type the API supports. Sends go through the full hygiene pipeline — rate limits, opt-out and duplicate guard included.

Campaigns

Send one message to a list of opted-in people, paced out with human-like timing instead of a blast. Every send still respects rate limits, caps and opt-outs.

I confirm every recipient has opted in to messages from this number. Opted-out numbers are skipped automatically; sending to people who never agreed is how numbers get banned.

Numbers are de-duplicated and spread over time. You can cancel remaining sends anytime.
